Installation

Get Kalaquo up and running on your system in just a few minutes.

Prerequisites

Before installing Kalaquo, make sure you have the following:

  • •Mac with Apple Silicon - M1, M2, M3, or newer chip required
  • •macOS 13.0+ - Ventura or later
  • •Memory - 12 GB RAM minimum (16 GB recommended)
  • •Storage - 4 GB free disk space

Note: Windows and Linux support is coming soon. FreeCAD is bundled with Kalaquo—no separate installation required.

Step 1: Download Kalaquo

Download the macOS installer from our download page. The download includes a 30-day free trial and a bundled FreeCAD engine.

  • •Kalaquo-1.0.0-arm64.dmg - macOS Apple Silicon installer

Step 2: Install

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg file
  2. Drag Kalaquo to your Applications folder
  3. Right-click and select "Open" (first time only, required for unverified apps)
  4. If prompted, click "Open" in the security dialog

Note: On first launch, macOS may show a security warning. This is normal for apps downloaded outside the App Store.

Step 3: Launch and Start Creating

Kalaquo comes with a bundled FreeCAD engine—no additional setup required:

  1. Launch Kalaquo from your Applications folder
  2. The integrated CAD engine starts automatically
  3. Start creating with natural language commands
  4. You should see a green "Connected" indicator
